There's a great lack of trust today in people analyzing the markets, and in those charged with seeing that markets operate as they should. Now why would that be...
Who Can We Trust?
Stock analysts are clever chaps
Who offer up investing maps,
To good stock they are much devoted
Provided their firms underwrote it.
Who can we trust?
Greed so flagrant on The Street
That even DC's own elite
Claim this once it won't do the norm
Instead step up, enact reform.
Who can we trust?
Lucky the economist
Whose arcane work is rarely dissed,
The wonder is he don't get hissed
Though ev'ry market crash he's missed.
Who can we trust?
There's harsh laws for a Wall Street felon
Who's caught for phony product sellin',
But most big problems come today
From legal scams the pros now play
Who can we trust?
Who, Indeed...
