The Stock Market
Reality Show
Reality TV has two basic formats,
One features young hotties, one middle aged doormats;
The former compete for true love or fat prizes,
Some cute hidden gimmicks provide the surprises;
The latter are hug-prone and shed endless tears,
We feed on their weakness, their copious fears.
The market’s a kind of reality show,
The game here—to guess the right way it will go;
A hot streak makes heroes of feisty investors,
A downtick ennobles the cautious divestors;
Each new season brings a hoped for great rating,
This year’s best bet entry? For that we're still waiting.
