And Economic Haiku

Congress in recess
nothing's done in washington
so what else is new.

Both parties now claim
the other one is far worse 
perhaps both are right.

Wonder what still thrives
in this dour economy?
wall street bonuses.

Economists have
a great secret they won't share
how to keep a job.

When it becomes clear
you're a failing president
blame your supporters.

The wise ones all know
you cut and run from lost wars
then claim victory.
