The Inflation Cure

We've found inflation's nemesis
And how its ills to trump;
We've slowed price rises painful
At the food mart and the pump.

And how did we pull off this trick
And check costs' mean progression?
We whipped the cruel inflation beast
With a crueler deep recession.
