Drug Ad Poem

It really is most curious
The news on drug firm spending,
They shell out near as much on ads
As research—it’s mind bending.

Don’t get me wrong, this ain’t a case
Of bearing pers’nal malice,
I really love that purple pill,
I’m crazy ‘bout Cialis.

My beef’s that deal with Medicare,
Buy retail, this law decrees;
I’m ticked some cash that Sam doles out
Ends up ad subsidies.
