The GOP Candidate Financing Poem

When the corporate world seems boring
(Though your stay there left you flush),
Run for congress or the state house,
Win or lose the run's a rush.

When your earnings have gone fallow
And you need some ready cash,
Take it from your campaign kitty
While the Dems you roundly trash.

It's a great election season
For a 'throw the bums out' drummer.
Though a problem here for voters
Is the new bums might be bummer.
