For years the tech market just wallowed and sulked
To buyers its stocks were uncrateable,
After rising to heights that had proved a bad joke
Owning shares here seemed highly debatable.
At first in a trickle and then in a flood
Even big names became plain desertable,
Tech equity offerings stayed on the shelves
Tech debt issues languishedunrateable.
But in playing the markets smart folks quickly learn
To be ever and always alertable,
For signs that a sector you thought dead and gone
To a new life, perhaps, was revertible.
You dont hold a grudge, thats amateur stuff
You know, if it moves, its pervertable,
So now with investors renewed yen for tech
The skeptics just say: Im convertible.
