It may be a little early to rehab depression songs. On the other hand....

Barack, I Really
Need A Change

Once I bought a condo, overpaid,
But what did I care;
The market would keep rising, we were told,
I'd flip it, reap a  profit dear.

Once I had a good job, benefits,
My boss was a prince;
The business then got bought up, you can guess;
The staff just took a nasty mince.

I did my stint in Baghdad, did it well,
Saddam was our prey;
We got the guy and hung him, yeah, so what,
My fight's now with my own VA.

Barack, don't you remember, what you said,
Things you would rearrange;
Your promises inspired me, don't back down,
I really, really need a change.

"Nowadays, you can't turn on the TV without some talking head telling you about the economy. Yet, in a world overrun by 'analysts,' only one man has the guts, the brains, and, quite frankly, the poetry to put it all in perspective.That man is Michael Silverstein... Silverstein is a true intellectual." — Gersh Kuntzman, The New York Post

"Few people have found much to laugh about in the stock market this year. Michael Silverstein is the exception. The Bard of the Bourse can find humor in losing money, globalization and stock options." — USA Today
