A Meditation
On Real Money

Dollar, euro, yen,
The latter's down again.

Euro, dollar, pound,
Poor sterling ain't that sound.

West Europe sheds its hopes,
As euros do the gropes.

Our dollar getting creamed,
Leaves Chinese holders steamed.

Is the world's new money master
Just the one that falls less faster?

Or, good heavens, could it be,
Gold's the last true currency?
