One Nation Divisible

Wall street brags our economy booms,
Main Street says that it stinks.
congress blows kisses to corporate wealth,
As the middle class lifeboat sinks.

Bush seems to think that we're ALL in high clover
With six-figure tax cuts to show it.
But here in the overworked,chump-change economy,
IF it starts booming, WE'LL KNOW IT!!
