Marlowe  2009
The  Passionate
Entrepreneur To His Love

by Brian Fone

Come live with me and be my lover;
between us both we'll then discover
that after our merger we can source
the joys of Wall Street and the Bourse.

You'll be the Company  Director ;
I,  CEO,  the strong protector
of our little private hoard
as we manipulate the Board.

Unlike other mundane pairs
we'll make a killing in rising shares
with just a hint of insider trading
in takeover bids and corporate raiding.

We will all our cash invest
in funds at compound interest.
bearish markets will never block
the rising value of our stock.

We'll keep our debtors forever at call
and always protect our capital.
Each broker we'll treat with deep suspicion
before he claims the least commission.

If we take our options at the best of prices
our Mutual futures will see no crises,
and collateral to our union fond
a huge bank balance shall be our bond.

Perpetual credit in great amounts
will bless our offshore trade accounts
and by investment you'll have found
that money makes the world go round.

"Nowadays, you can't turn on the TV without some talking head telling you about the economy. Yet, in a world overrun by 'analysts,' only one man has the guts, the brains, and, quite frankly, the poetry to put it all in perspective.That man is Michael Silverstein... Silverstein is a true intellectual." — Gersh Kuntzman, The New York Post

"Few people have found much to laugh about in the stock market this year. Michael Silverstein is the exception. The Bard of the Bourse can find humor in losing money, globalization and stock options." — USA Today
